Leipzig Revisited
In a departure from our normal repertoire, Boxwood & Brass will be performing three works from the amazing discography of the 1920s Leipzig Gewandhaus Wind Quintet. By studying the recordings and using early-20th century German instruments, we are attempting to understand better the playing style of these musicians and their approach to ensemble.
